service service and competence is the worst i ve ever had to deal with

"Excellent" Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last few years when it was owned by the Radisson and now Novotel (Accor) group. My experience of the hotel has always been fantastic. The rooms are of a good size with balcony looking over the pool or the mountainside and offer all the facilities that a hotel of this rating provides. The pool area is excellent, clean and quite although at peak times can get busy. Location of the hotel is superb, up in the California hills which is very peaceful with the main promenade of Cannes only approx a 10mins walk. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The resturant has an excellent setting near the pool but have only had breakfast at the hotel which can be expensive. On my last vist the booking was double booked and no a room was not available. After being sent to another hotel, the all suites (not impressed), went back and were offered a sea view room at another hotel in there chain the Sofitel. Now thats another story...........superb.
