"Wonderful, friendly Hotel"
We stayed at this Hotel 2 weeks ago (June 2005) and had a wonderful time.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and speak excellent English. We have a young Son and the staff were fantastic with him and the small pool on top of the roof is just the right size for a short stay even with children.
The location is behind the main railway station but was not noisy.
I would recommend this lovely little Hotel to anyone.

"A gem"
We stayed one night in this hotel and had a lovely experience. When we booked in we were upgraded to a suite on the top floor, with a large terrace and a (distant) view of the sea. The room was huge and comfortable, with fantastic (and quiet) air con. The staff at the front desk couldn't do enough to help, they were friendly, helpful and just thoroughly nice people. This impression was backed up by the rest of the staff we met, all of them were kind and friendly, no request was too much trouble. We travelled with our 6 month old son and they had made him up a lovely cot in the room.
The hotel has a secure garage which cost 14 euros per day, the hotel staff let us keep our car in it, at no extra cost, for the rest of the day after we had checked out.
The only small downside to this hotel is that it is directly opposite the station, we didn't notice any particular noise from this, but it does mean that the best way to the sea front (about 500m) is through an underpass with steps, and no ramp. To us this was a minor inconvenience in having to carry the pushchair a couple of times a day, but obviously this would not be suitable for all.
Overall one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and certainly the most sincerely friendly.

"great little hotel"
We were recommended this hotel by friends who stayed a couple of years ago and we were not disappointed! You cannot miss the Marilyn Monroe painting on the side wall and so the hotel was easy to find. Although opposite the back of the train station the windows have double glazing and we were never bothered by any noise. There is an underpass which takes you right to the station which is perfect for day trips to nearby towns. DO NOT DRIVE IN CANNES! or anywhere else in the region as all drivers are crazy. You also need to take care when crossing the road. We were very pleased with our room which was spotless and serviced every day. No tea/coffee making facilities or fridge though which would have been handy.
There is a small rooftop pool which was perfect and the views are stunning. We paid about 80 euros a night for our room only (the breakfast was quite expensive but there are loads of places to eat nearby). Everything you could want is only a short walk away. Staff were all pleasant and friendly and spoke English. Would definitely stay here again.
